Labels and fields in two columns in HTML & CSS

HTML & CSS interview exercise on Grid, difficulty 2 of 3. Solve it in the editor beside a worked example; the tests run the moment you do.

Lay the form out as two columns: the labels in a first column that is exactly as wide as the longest label, right-aligned, and the inputs in a second column taking the rest of the 480px form. Each label shares its row with its input and is vertically centred on it; rows are 12px apart, columns 16px.

Each exercise pairs a worked example with a twin problem to solve in a real editor; the tests run the moment you do. Progress is saved in your browser, and in your account if you sign in.
