Paginate a slice in Rust

Rust interview exercise on Practical, difficulty 1 of 3. Solve it in the editor beside a worked example; the tests run the moment you do.

Write paginate(items, page, size) that returns the items on a 1-based page as a sub-slice. A page past the end is empty, and so is page 0 or size 0. Indexing out of range panics in Rust, so clamp first.

Each exercise pairs a worked example with a twin problem to solve in a real editor; the tests run the moment you do. Progress is saved in your browser, and in your account if you sign in.
