Write a memoize decorator in Python

Python interview exercise on Functions & Decorators, difficulty 3 of 3. Solve it in the editor beside a worked example; the tests run the moment you do.

Write memoize(fn), a decorator that caches results by positional arguments so fn runs once per distinct argument tuple. Keep the wrapped function's name with functools.wraps. The standard library has this as functools.cache; write it yourself here.

Each exercise pairs a worked example with a twin problem to solve in a real editor; the tests run the moment you do. Progress is saved in your browser, and in your account if you sign in.
