Hidden from eyes, not from readers in HTML & CSS
HTML & CSS interview exercise on Accessibility, difficulty 3 of 3. Solve it in the editor beside a worked example; the tests run the moment you do.
The search button shows only a glyph, so its text must stay in the accessibility tree while being invisible. Write the classic .sr-only: the element takes no visible space (at most one pixel), is clipped, and is not display: none or visibility: hidden, which would hide it from screen readers too. Keep the note visible.
Each exercise pairs a worked example with a twin problem to solve in a real editor; the tests run the moment you do. Progress is saved in your browser, and in your account if you sign in.
